P-51 Mustang. [video cassette] [videorecording].
North American's P-51 "Mustang" reached the peak of piston- engine fighter development during World War II. Built as a low-wing single seater with sleek all-metal stressed-skin, the "Mustang" had an incredible combination of speed, range, maneuverability and firepower. Its ability to escort bombers to Berlin and beyond proved to be the death knell for the Luftwaffe.
